Overview

EntireCalc is a free online hub of construction calculators. You do not need an account to use the tools. We aim to keep the experience simple and to collect only what is needed to run the site and respond to messages you send us.

This policy explains what information may be processed, how it is used, and how to contact us. It is not legal advice.

Information we collect

• Calculator inputs: Dimensions and options you enter are processed in your browser to show results. By default we do not save those inputs as a personal account history on our servers.
• Theme preference: Dark/light mode is stored in your browser’s local storage only.
• Contact form: If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you submit so we can reply. The same applies if you email contact@entirecalc.com directly.
• Server logs: Like most websites, our host may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, date/time, and pages requested. This is used for security, debugging, and basic traffic understanding.
• Cookies: We may use cookies or similar storage that is needed for the site to work (for example preference or security). You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Analytics and advertising

If we enable analytics or advertising products (for example from Google), those services may set their own cookies and process usage data under their policies. We will update this page to name the services we actually use. Until then, treat third-party marketing tools as not a core part of how the calculators themselves run.

How we use information

• To operate, secure, and improve the website and calculators
• To respond to contact form or email messages
• To understand aggregate traffic patterns and fix errors
• To meet basic legal or security requirements if needed

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers who help us run the site (for example hosting or email delivery), only as needed for that purpose. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the site and users.

Third-party sites you link to from EntireCalc have their own privacy practices; we are not responsible for those sites.

Retention

• Contact messages: Kept as long as needed to handle your request and any related follow-up, then deleted or archived according to normal mailbox practice.
• Server logs: Retained for a limited period by the host for security and operations, then rotated or deleted under their defaults.
• Browser storage: Theme and similar data stay on your device until you clear site data.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the site and communications. No method of transmission or storage on the internet is 100% secure.

Children

EntireCalc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it when appropriate.

Your choices

• Clear cookies and site data in your browser to remove local preferences
• Use browser controls to block or limit cookies
• Email us to ask about a message you sent via the contact form

Changes

We may update this policy when the site or our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
